The Local 2687 Annual Dinner-Dance was held on Saturday, March 24th, 2012 at the Laurel View Country Club in Hamden.
This annual meeting is held to honor Local 2687 retirees, present awards, and for all current and retired members to get together and socialize. A great time was had by all who attended.
Special Thanks go out to all members who helped organize the event and make this possible.
Special thanks also goes out to Local 2687 members Capt. Ed Evers and FF Mike Dowling of the Connecticut Firefighters Pipes and Drums for bagpiping during the ceremony!!
This Year's "Jake Award" went to 2nd Platoon Battalion Chief Bill Fitzmaurice.
