On Friday, August 31st, 2012, a ceremony was held at the Hamden Government Center to honor Jeanine Aceto and Francine Monaco, after serving a combined 52 years as secretaries for the Hamden Fire Department.

Many active and retired Hamden firefighters stopped by the Government Center to congratulate Jeanine and Fran.

Fresh from high school in 1984, Jeanine started working in the office as part-time assistant then became a full-timer shortly thereafter.  Fran started her career in 1988.  Jeanine and Fran were both admitted as Honorary Members in the Hamden Fire Retirees Association. 

Jeanine and Fran, thank you for your many years of service to the Town of Hamden and as secretaries for the Hamden Fire Department!
